ورشة عمل في جامعة البلمند حول ثلاث مشاريع أوروبية تتمحور حول دراسة المياه في لبنان
نظّمت كليّة الهندسة في جامعة البلمند بالتعاون مع مكتب Erasmus+ في لبنان ورشة عمل موسّعة تمحورت حول معالجة المياه في لبنان صباح الخميس 12 أيار 2022 في مركز الشيخ نهيان في حرم جامعة البلمند في الكورة. وقد حضر هذه الورشة عدد من الأكاديميين والجهات المستفيدة من المشاريع البيئيّة كالبلديّات وإتحادات البلديّات وغيرها من الفعاليات.
بدأت الورشة بكلمة افتتاحية ألقاها نائب رئيس جامعة البلمند وعميد كلية الهندسة البرفيسور رامي عبود شدّد فيها على إلتزام الجامعة بوضع خبراتها وإمكانياتها التقنيّة في خدمة المجتمعات المحلية والتنمية المستدامة، ومن ثم كلمة منسّق مكتب Erasmus+ في لبنان الدكتور عارف الصوفي الذي شدّد بدوره على أهميّة المشاريع المذكورة وعلى ضرورة توثيق التعاون مع الشركاء الاوروبيين في هذا المجال.
تضمّنت الجلسة الأولى لهذه الورشة شرح عام عن كل مشروع ومدى استفادة لبنان وحوض البحر المتوسط منها على الصعيد العلمي، التقني والبحثي. وأهمّ هذه المشاريع، مشروع تحويل مياه الصرف الصحي إلى مياه لريّ المحاصيل الزراعية ((Aquacycle، وقد تناول عرض هذا المشروع الدكتور احمد المل من كلية الصحة في الجامعة اللبنانية. أمّا الدكتور كلوفيس فرنسيس، من كلية الهندسة في الجامعة البنانية، فقد سلّط الضوء على دراسة جزيئات البلاستيك في مياه البحر (Claim). وقد طرح الدكتور مكرم البشواتي من كلية الهندسة في جامعة البلمند الطرق المختصّة بالمعالجة المستدامة لمياه الصرف الصحي في القطاع الإستشفائي ((SWaTH.
أمّا الجلسة الثانية فقد تضمّنت عروض علمية وتقنية مفصّلة لكل مشروع، حيث تمّ التشديد على الأهداف، النتائج والتوصيات للمشاريع مع كلّ من الدكتور أحمد الـمـل مدير المشروع العلمي في لبنان (Aquacycle) ، الدكتور وائل حمد عن مشروع Claim))، والدكتورة ألين سعد عن مشروع SWaTH)).
اختتمت الورشة بجلسة حوارية أدارها مساعد نائب رئيس الجامعة ومدير مكتب شؤون الطلاب المهندس مايكل سالم. وقد ناقشت الجلسة وسائل تعزيز التعاون بين المشاريع الثلاثة وأهميّة معالجة المياه في لبنان على المستوى البيئي، الإقتصادي والاجتماعي وإمكانية توحيد أهداف الفرقاء والشركاء وتنظيم العلاقات والتنسيق فيما بينهم من أجل الاستفادة القصوى من طاقات كافة الباحثين العاملين في المشاريع الأوروبية.
تخلّل الورشة مجموعة من الأسئلة طرحها الحضور الذي عبّر عن إهتمام كبير ورغبة ملحّة في حلّ مشكلة تلوّث مياه الصرف الصحي في محافظة لبنان الشمالي.
